Learning to drive can be a uniquely stressful experience, and in the close confines of a car many female pupils feel more at ease with a female instructor.

Whilst it is a common believe that most learners are youngers who eagerly embrace the idea of learning to drive as soon as they turn 17 this is not always the case! This is true of many, but some put off learning because they are nervous, or have perhaps lived in a city and not needed to. So don’t be embarrassed if you fall into the ‘mature’ student category. Often with age comes more common sense and a greater ability to actually listen to instructions! One of my recent successes was a lady of 64.
